Jacksonville, FL – Yesterday Sorden Davis gave us his take on Judgement Day Eval Camp…today it’s my turn to give you my thoughts on the standouts and prospects from Judgement Day Eval Camp held last Saturday, Oct. 22nd in Jacksonville.

Let’s start with the younger group and work our way up to the Sophomore-Senior group.

Caitlin McGee – 2020 – Jacksonville, FL – Sandalwood HS – 6’1 – Clearly the marquee prospect in the younger division.  Once she smelled blood in water she absolutely dominated the competition.  She’s super explosive, runs the floor and is every bit a “power 5” level prospect.  Her biggest areas for improvement are her perimeter skills specifically her jump shot and the confidence to dominate from start to finish, not just when she realizes she’s better than everyone else.

Anna Bradley – 2020 – Jacksonville, FL – Bishop Kenny – 5’9 – Skilled competitor who is transitioning from a middle school post player to a HS guard.  Jump shot has improved dramatically and is now knocking down 3’s with consistency.  Ball handling in transition particularly is improving.  Good rebounder….gritty, competitor.

Aryana Dizon – 2021 – Hudson, FL – Carrollwood Day School – 6’1 – Good upside on a long lanky post player.  Did some good things.  Kept the ball high on offensive rebound putbacks.  Has good hands and when her body fills out will be a definite D1 prospect.

Chancelor Lee – 2020 – Jacksonville, FL – Oakleaf HS – 5’5 – Shooting guard with a strong athletic frame, had the ability to knock down multiple 3’s during the game portion of the event.

Megan Watson – 2020 – Plant City, FL – Strawberry Crest HS – 5’7 – Quality combo guard, good athleticism, got by defenders and to the rim, really pushed the ball in transition, decent handles, did a good job controlling the tempo for her group in the game portion.  Going to be one of the better 2020 prospects in the state.

Courtni Demorest – 2020 – Riverview, FL – HS?? – 5’5 – High IQ player, understand when her team transitioned from defense to offense, that she could get easy buckets by running the floor.

Rylee Texter – 2022 – New Port Richey, FL – River Ridge – 4’10 – One of the top middle schoolers at the event.  Despite her size, she was a standout.  Communicated on the court in a way that was very advanced for her age, displaying a high IQ for the game.  She understands how to get low on offense and defense, and why that’s important…explosive…finished thru contact…decent athleticism….good handles.

Antalazia Baker – 2020 – Savannah, GA – Woodville-Thompkins – 5’8 – Freshmen guard with good size…can play multiple positions.  Good athlete…handles the ball well enough to play the 1 at times.  Is a slasher type scorer.  Definite D1 prospect.

Dajah Oden – 2020 – Jacksonville, FL – Oakleaf HS – 5’9 – Good size for her age…handled the ball in transition…rebounds and pushes. Can she transition to a perimeter player at the HS level?

Maddie Millar – 2022 – Amelia Island, FL – Fernandina Beach MS – 5’8 – Long guard with remarkable skills for her age.  Great shooter, passer and all around player.  Has the athleticism.  Has the ability/potential to be a top player nationally in her class.

Amari Wright – 2020 – Jacksonville, FL – Sanadalwood HS – 5’7 – Super athletic lead guard who gets to rim at will and can really push the ball in transition….does a great job of finding the open team particularly in transition.  Going to be a high level D1 recruit.

Channing Chappell – 2020 – Ponte Vedra, FL – Ponte Vedra HS – 5’5 – Excellent shooter who understands the game from a high basketball IQ perspective.  Moves the ball well and doesn’t get herself in trouble by trying to do more than she can.

2017-2019s –

Alexandrya Myers – 2019 – Tampa, FL – Bayshore Christian – 5’8 – Could be termed the breakout player of the event….consistently hit the 3 ball, good handles, explosive slasher who was one of the top players in the 2017-2019 group.  Made some great passes as well.  Continued development should lead to D-1 offers.

Clarissa Duebel – 2018 – Tarpon Springs, FL – Tarpon Springs HS – 5’11 – Scrappy wing player with good hands, did a bunch of fundamental things well, including blocking out on shot attempts and was active defensively getting a number of deflections with her long arms.

Terra Barron – 2019 – Land O’Lakes, FL – Sunlake HS – 6’1 – Solid frame, is able to get blocks with her size and frame.  Did a great job of communicating and letting guards know when and where to give her the ball.  Nice baby hook over her right shoulder.  With her size has the potential to be a legit D-1 prospect.

Dyman Howard – 2019 – Palm Coast, FL – Flagler Palm Coast HS – 5’5 – Small PG, with good handles and experience at the 1.  Displayed good ability to pass the ball to the right player in transition and get the ball up the floor.  Hit a 3, and made drives to the basket.

Savanna Walker – 2017 – Pooler, GA – Woodville-Thompkins – 5’6 – Athletic combo guard displayed a smooth pull up jumper.  This was our 2nd time eval’ing Walker who we previously saw at the LBI Elite 48 event.  She’s a quick athletic guard who can get to the rim.

Denaesia Pollard – 2019 – Jacksonville, FL – Bishop Kenny – 6′ – undersized physical post player, uses body well, finishes around basket.  Will continue to develop.

Courtney Baker – 2018 – Melbourne, FL – Covenant Christian – 5’3 – Small guard with decent skills.  Finished with a floater on a baseline drive.  Can shoot the 3 ball and decent handles.

Rachel Hagans – 2018 – Tampa, FL – Tampa Catholic – 5’5 – Very quick athletic guard, needs to work on continued skill development.

Kaiya Riley-Guzman – 2019 – Gainesville, FL – The Rock – 5’7 – Great screener, hustled on both ends, did a good job rebounding the ball, more than an adequate passer.

Fabiana Limongi – 2018 – Tampa, FL – Bayshore Christian – 5’6 – Probably the top passer at the event.  Did a great job of drawing defenders and finding the open man….very good drive and kick…finished in transition, used a reverse layup to finish in the 1/2 court.  Good upside.

Airneisha Gamble – 2017 – Gainesville, FL – The Rock – 5’4 – Smaller PG with a big motor.  Physically strong despite her height…explosive, good passer, very good on ball defender.  Can hit the 3 ball and mid range shot.

Tia Robinson – 2019 – Fleming Island, FL – Fleming Island HS – 5’8 – Body continues to develop and fill out…I would now consider her to be a physically strong player with good athleticism.  Handles the ball well specifically in traffic.  Good distributor…can play both 1 and 2.  Needs to work on shooting the ball up…has a tendency to shoot it flat.

Shania Edgecombe – 2018 – Jacksonville, FL – Ribault HS – 6’1 – Her transition to the wing is nearly complete.  Can shoot the 3 ball, and get to the rim.  Still looks to post up when opportunity presents itself.  Finished with a baby hook over the left shoulder.

Kiya Turner – 2019 – Saint Augustine, FL – Nease HS – 5’7 – Very good player at multiple facets of the game…big time competitor…high motor.  Needs to improve jump shot to become a major D-1 prospect.

Dyani Sheppard – 2018 – Micanopy, FL – PK Yonge HS – 5’10 – Nice 15 foot jumper, good strong frame.  Has upside.

Char’da Hutchinson – 2019 – Savannah, GA – Woodville-Thompkins – 5’6 – In the better than she looks category.   Good handles, used a nice spin move in transition….gets defenders off balance, gets to the rim.

Jasmine Spencer – 2018 – Gainesville, FL – PK Yonge HS – 5’6 – Solid combo guard…one of the better players during the afternoon session.  Hit a number of 3s during the game portion.  Plays passing lanes and made a few steals…finished transition layups.  Finds open man.  Good frame.

Chloe McInerney – 2019 – Neptune Beach, FL – Bishop Kenny – 6’1 – Thick strong post player…has upside.  Continued development will enhance potential.

Bria McGirth – 2017 – Brunswick, GA – Glynn Academy – 5’10 – Very long lanky wing player.  Can rebound well for a guard…good 3 point shooter.

Erianna Campbell – 2017 – Brunswick, GA – Glynn Academy – 5’9 – One of the better under the radar prospects in the deep south.  Great athletic body.  Handles the ball well…shoots it from 3.  Going to be a major recruit for low D-1’s, juco’s and or D-2’s this spring.

Anna Arato – 2018 – Fernandina Beach, FL – Fernandina Beach HS – 5’10 – Very good mid range shooter…handles the ball in transition.  Increasing confidence enhances abilities.  Needs to add strength.

Ke’Yondra Merritt – 2017 – Jacksonville, FL – Raines HS – 5’11 – One of the top uncommitted seniors in Jacksonville this year.  Great strong, athletic frame.  Uses size & athleticism to rebound and score.
