Rising Blue Star Providence day

This past Sunday I took a short little drive down to Providence day School in Charlotte. To cover the rising blue star event. It have ladies from all over North Carolina parts of South Carolina and Virginia. The Ages were Rising 9th graders to fifth grade. Here are a few players that stood out.

Milaysia Fulwiley 5’6 Pg 2023 Keenan HS Columbia, South Carolina

Milaysia is outstanding with the ball. She is great of setting up the fenders to get teammates wide open shot or wide open layups. She can get into the paint at will and score with either hand through contact. She can beat you off the dribble and pull up for a nice jump shot on a consistent basis.

Reese Wilson  5’7 Wing 2024 Alexander Graham MS Charlotte, NC

Reese length, speed and high motor with the high basketball IQ and shooting ability. She has a bright future ahead of her. If her work ethic is what I saw at the camp she’s a name you’ll want to remember.

McKenzie Graves 5’4 2025 Guard Durham Academy Durham, NC

McKenzie is a good score for many levels. She can get to the cup and hit the jump shot and a very consistent basis.

Jade great size and speed. On the defensive and she plays passing very well. She does a great job putting yourself in scoring opportunities off the ball. Did a good job getting to the rims going right and left handed.

Bobbi Smith 5’8 2022 Guard SE Raleigh Garner, NC

Bobbi is great in transition basketball. Runs the lanes Wells able to finish through contact with both hands. An exceptional offensive rebounder because of her length. Has some of the best footwork I’ve seen at this age.

Skyla Tuthill  5’8 Wing 2024 Bank Trail MS Fort Mill, Sc

Skyla has great size in his already learned how to use it to create space to get her jump shot off. She can shoot the three ball or put it on the ground one or two times and hit the pull up.

La’Niya  Simes 5’10 Wing 2023 Southeast MS Winston Salem, NC

La’Niya uses her links to play the passing Lanes. Able to get to the basket in traffic and finish through contact. She rebounds well on the offense and defense of boards and plays well off the ball.
