804 top 48

I got up bright and early this Saturday and I took a long drive up to Princess George High School in Virginia to go cover the assist 804 top 48 women’s evaluation showcase. Coach Carter always has some very talented girls that come to the event. Here’s a few of the players that I found that people will know and some that are new

Kimaya Williams 6″1 22 Wing VA

Kimaya has a tremendous upside. She has great feet, great footwork and is a good athlete as well. She does a tremendous job of pushing tempo in the break and able to get into the paint and score and also knocked down the three ball. College coaches should definitely know who this kid is at all levels.

Sydney boone 5″7 21 PG VA

Sydney is a tremendous point guard who does a great job of creating space to shoot her jumper or create space to attack the basket or set teammates up to score as well. She does a great job on ball defending. Coaches don’t be scared that she’s a little undersized because she makes up for it and work ethic.

Madison Murphy 5″7 22 PG VA

Madison does a good job of getting into the lane and making good decisions able to knock down to three ball at a pretty consistent rate. Does a good job playing passing Lanes on defense definitely someone you should keep your eyes on.

Zaebrianna Hennderson 6″1 23 F VA diamond in the rough

Zaebrianna has great hands and good footwork in the paint. She did a great job of absorbing contact and finishing around the basket. She runs the floor well. When she catches it in the post, if she gets the double, she makes the right pass out. Definitely another kid college coaches should keep their eyes on.

Emily Ellis 5″8 21 SG VA diamond in the rough

Emily is a sniper from the three-point line.  She is deadly off the catch and good off the bounce. When she catches she’s ready to shoot immediately. If Emily gets ran off the line she’s able to knock down the 15-footer as well or get all the way to the basket. Emily uses her basketball IQ to guard faster players in front of her.

Messiah Hunter 6″2 Wing VA

Messiah has a silky-smooth game and does a great job attacking the basket. When she gets players off balance she’s able to stop on a dime and knock down the pull-up jump shot or get to the basket and finish through contact. Offensively, she’ll get in the stands and lock up against guards or post players. This kid has a tremendous upside. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what she adds to her game during the high school season.

Taylor Wiggins 6″2 Post VA

Taylor has great hands and is able to score over either shoulder. Taylor does a good job cleaning up the boards and keeping the ball high and able to make good Outlet passes to start the break. She does a great job of setting screens on the ball or off the ball to get people open to score or to steal her girl and get it easy basket.
