Covering Prospective Student-Athletes in the SouthEast US and beyond
Independent School National Championship
We arrived in Mooresville and walked into the Talbert Rec Center before the first round of the girls games began. I spoke with John Mcgraw, got everything situated for the games to begin, sat down with my camera and started my evaluations. The first day of games brought a lot of excitement and spotlighted a lot of talent. In day two, most games were decided by ten or less points and by the end of day Saturday, when the smoke cleared, we had two teams for the Elite Championship and Gold Championship. Saint James School vs Excel Hoops Prep represented the Gold Championship while Blair Academy vs Winston Salem Christian represented the Elite Championship.
On Sunday Excel Hoops Prep came out with the win over Saint James School and Winston Salem Christian captured the win over Blair Academy in a clash of the titans.
